CAASPP Practice Tests
https://www.caaspp.org/practice-and-training/index.html
Dear Room 30 Families,
Fifth graders at Coyote Creek usually take the California Assessment of Student Performance
and Progress (CAASPP) tests for English Language Arts and Math in mid-April
and early May.
Additionally, fifth-grade students will be taking the California Science Test
(CAST) in mid-May. The CAST also uses the current CAASPP test delivery system.
The CAST test is cumulative, meaning it will test science topics taught in grades
kindergarten through 5th grade.
Students are required to use headphones for these tests.
A detailed testing schedule for our class will be sent a month or two before testing.
Please avoid making any appointments or having unnecessary absences on
these dates. Students test better when in their regular classroom setting
that they are used to, and not in a makeup testing setting.
We will be completing several practice tests in the classroom so that students
are familiar with the computer-based tools and format of the tests.
There will be no make-ups administered for practice testing.
CAASPP and CAST practice and training tests can also be utilized at home.
No login information is necessary to take these practice tests.
